It is cheap, but it's also fun and there's a bit of that mutually shared adventure thing that kids don't get when parents just take them to Disneyland or something. It's like we're all in this together, and it really does bond you.

Lots of families can't camp. They don't like it. It's too boring. But I never find that. We all bring our own hobbies--drawing, crocheting, knitting, etc.--we do lots of swimming, lots of cooking, and play lots of games. It's great!

Hopefully we'll have a lot more camping this summer, as long as all this snow eventually goes away.

Visit To Love, Honor and Vacuum today!Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06842674051346091248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945855605940594967.post-37971592825950454852008-03-14T21:47:00.000-05:002008-03-14T21:47:00.000-05:00I appreciate your thoughts. With the present economy, as much as I would sometimes like to get away, I am more grateful that I am able to be an at-home homemaker on my husband's lower-waged salary.

Sometimes we have to give up "good" things to have things that are "best". Best wishes on your debt-free journey. Enjoy your family time together, that's what matters!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
